Susanne Hipp Accounting was started in 2013 by myself to help out other small business owners look after building a succesful business with the work they love whilst doing the work I am passionate about - doing bookkeeping and tax compliance work.
I worked in Accounting most of my professional life. Five years ago I decided I needed to formalise this experience and enrolled at Massey University to study for a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Accountancy. I graduated in 2013 with this Degree. My aim is to help small businesses to take care of their Bookwork and am doing this with as much or little help as is required. We know that "one size does not fit all" and are thus happy to work in with what works best for you.
I am a Tax Agent registered with the IRD and am thus able to liaise with Inland Revenue on your behalf. Therefore you don't have to engage in the often frustrating and time consuming dealings with them. We also take care of all IRD communications for you. If you want to, I could even have all IRD Communications directly to me saving you from the sinking feeling you might get when you see the IRD Logo on an envelope.
I am a Xero-Certified Silver advisor and strongly believe that through your bank transactions flowing daily into your accounting software you always have an accurate snapshot how your business is tracking. However, if you prefer I can also work in with your existing Accounting Package, I have experience in Reckon Accounts (formerly Quickbooks) and MYOB.
I am passionate about the community I live in and have been involved as Treasurer of numerous non-profit organisations, currently serving as Treasurer Hawera Soccer Club, Hawera Golf Club and Bizlink Hawera.
I am a member of the New Zealand Tax Agents Institute (ATAINZ
) which ensures professional and ethical service.
